Who is a volunteer?

A volunteer is a person who provides his assistance for free and does not pursue financial benefits – although they may gain a sense of satisfaction and internal rewards for their efforts.

Volunteering is something you do to help others, giving your time and energy, without a monetary reward.

Who can be a volunteer?

Every member of our society who wants to help those who need it on a voluntary basis can become a volunteer.


The most famous volunteers in the world


Hilary Swank is an American actress and producer. Hilary Swank helps children in an orphanage in India with United Planet.

Seth Green is an American actor, comedian, and producer. Seth Green helps those in need, and he was volunteering with Doctors Beyond Boarders around the world.

Angelina Jolie is an American actress and humanitarian. Angelina Jolie has helped the needy throughout the world for several years in more than 30 countries, includes war zones.

George Clooney is an American actor, director, producer, and philanthropist. George Clooney is the founder of the non-profit organisation "Not on Our Watch."

Ben Affleck an American actor and producer. Ben Affleck is the founder of the organisation "Eastern Congo Initiative" which works to help improve children's health, education, and also help victims who suffered sexual violence.
