This project is created for those who like to read books. Here you can tell us about your favourite book and write a review. Books enrich our inner world, form a worldview, teach us to think, make friends, love and dream. Every book we read changes us forever. Books expand our horizons, plunge into the magical world of fantasy and make us think. Tell us about your favourites!

“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counsellors, and the most patient of teachers.”

- Charles W. Eliot

"I wonder," he said, "whether the stars are set alight in heaven so that one day each one of us may find his own again..." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery, "The Little Prince". I love this book!!! I would recommend to read it. If you really want something, you have to go to success in life, through difficulties and failures. A cute fairy tale with a philosophical meaning is a guide to the world of fantasy and dreams. This tale teaches us to enjoy the little things and more often look at the stars. Enjoy!

"This ring is a symbol of my faithfulness, it binds you to me, and my love shall hold you always." - Melissa de la Cruz, "Bloody Valentine". This is an incredible and romantic story that fascinates from the first minutes of reading. You will never forget this book. Passion and suffering, hope and defeat fill the hearts of the protagonists of this beautiful vampire novel. The glitter and glamour of the representatives of nightlife are covered with a veil of deception and defeat.

“I do not wish any reward but to know I have done the right thing.” - Mark Twain, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn / This is my favourite book. Huckleberry Finn is a boy who always finds a way out of difficult situations. Finn's life philosophy is quite simple. This is freedom and adventure. We should learn the kindness and sincerity from this guy.

"You're either my ship's cook-and then you were treated handsome-or Cap'n Silver, a common mutineer and pirate, and then you can go hang!" - Robert Louis Stevenson, Treasure Island / The famous novel by Robert Louis Stevenson tells of the exciting and dangerous adventures of the young Jim and his older comrades who went in search of a pirate treasure. I really liked this novel. This is so realistic that it just took breath away when reading. I really felt the sound of the wind, the salt spray on my face, Jim's fear when dealing with Billy Bons and Blind Pew.

“No matter how hard you try to be what you once were, you can only be what you are here and now.” - Ray Bradbury, Dandelion Wine / This is one of the most wonderful books I have read. The book is filled with smells, sounds and feelings. I will reread it more than once, I'm sure. It is a very kind and sunny story, sunk into my heart and has become one of my favourite ones. The book tells about one wonderful summer, through the eyes of two brothers who live in a small town. The book's narration is so bright, warm, and sunny — like that dandelion wine. Closing the book, I looked with a smile somewhere in space, into the distance, and the world seemed completely different to me.

“People generally see what they look for, and hear what they listen for.” - Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird / This story is filled with deep morality, bright humour, and most importantly - the hope that times change. Everyone needs to read this to understand and feel the spirit of that era. The main characters of this story go through a war - a war with society, with prejudices, with their own character. This story is about tolerance and prejudice, the story of how people can make mistakes in their judgments. Describing the world through the eyes of a little girl, the author forces to take a fresh look at many things.

“When I am king they shall not have bread and shelter only, but also teachings out of books, for a full belly is little worth where the mind is starved.” - Mark Twain, The Prince and the Pauper / This story tells about two boys born in London on the same day: Edward, Prince of Wales and Tom Canty, a street beggar. Edward was born in the royal family and everyone was waiting for his birth. Tom was born in a poor family and was destined to know all the burdens of poor life. Once, two children met and found that they were very similar to each other. From that moment on, their lives changed abruptly and their difficult adventures began. Starting to read this story, you will find yourself in an incredible and wonderful world, ruled by kings. I like how Mark Twain accurately and colorfully describes all the historical details - traditions, churches, castles, even clothing and laws. This story is about how two boys from different walks of life swapped places. Prince Edward Tudor and Tom Kenti were so similar that they could not be distinguished. Each of the boys is waiting for an incredible adventure. First, the guys are having fun and enjoying unfamiliar sensations. But then each of them understands how difficult life is often. I really like this story. This is probably the best book by Mark Twain.

“The fewer one's comforts, the fewer one's needs; and the fewer one's needs, the greater one's happiness.” - Jules Verne / "Children of Captain Grant" - is one of the most brilliant works of the author, which was interesting to read. This amazing work impressed me with its deep well thought of every detail, the story and each character. All the adventures of the main characters and their travels, as set out in the book, are described very fascinatingly and based on a riddle. It is this mystery that we are trying to solve throughout the entire work. The book describes various natural landscapes: deserts and steppes, snowy mountain peaks and giant cracks, picturesque waterfalls, calm rivers, and swamps. A special place in the story is occupied by natural phenomena such as tropical rainfall, floods, landslides, avalanches, volcanic eruptions. But at the most important place, of course, heroes who, in spite of all obstacles, continue their journey in search of the brave captain Grant, who suffers shipwreck near the island of Tabor.
